There are no more opportunities to simply go out, and there is a great demand for functional and comfortable items that are "easy to wear" and "easy to wear". I feel that there is an increasing need to “get a sense of exhilaration by dressing”, and I myself am fascinated by such items. Unlike shoes that are very practical and comfortable, they are purely fashion and have power as clothing. The items I chose this time are mainly those with such power. There are some things that I think are simply cute (laughs).
- As an editor-in-chief, you see a lot of items on a daily basis, and I think you're a "professional in choosing things" that can see the real thing among them.Is there anything you keep in mind when choosing things?
- O: So you don't just follow trends. The perspectives of magazines and digital media are different, but even from a global perspective, fashion trends have become quite diverse over the past few years, and even in fashion media, I think that expressions such as "This is what you should buy now!" . "Harper's BAZAARis the go-to medium for fashion, but we don't pursue all-encompassing trends when it comes to choosing and planning. As a targeting media for “visionary, independent women who have a relationship with themselves and society”, we carefully select ideas by making recommendations from a unique perspective that matches the mood of the times while staying close to their lifestyles. Our role is to propose We also believe that it is important to have consistency in our proposals, and to use expressions that are easy to understand, such as how to choose words and how to take photographs.
