ROPPONGI HILLS
GOURMET RESTAURANT
Japanese Cuisine
A Japanese Cuisine restaurant opened as a sister store by Mr. Sadahisa Yoshizawa, who became independent at "Ginza Ibuki" in 2010 after working at famous stores in Kyoto and Tokyo and won a Michelin star. The entrance faces the terrace side, so natural light comes in during the day and lanterns light up at night. The interior of a full-fledged Sukiya-zukuri store consists of a private room and a counter. The four private rooms are all made with plenty of room, and the seats are wide and spacious. The table can be adjusted according to the number of people to eat and can accommodate up to 12 seats. The menu changes monthly, and we will respond to alcohol pairing if you consult with us at the time of booking.
Each private room is designed to feel the four seasons of Japan. You can admire seasonal flowers such as works imitating Korin Ogata's "Irises Screen" and wall paintings drawn directly on white wood by the artist. (4 seats x 1 room, 6 seats x 2 rooms, 8 seats x 1 room)
* Up to 12 seats can be changed by adjusting the partition between rooms.
There are a total of 10 counter seats facing the terrace side. It is a high-quality space full of the warmth of wood. This space is where you can enjoy a direct conversation with the staff of the owner, Mr. Yoshizawa, who has a deep knowledge of all aspects of cooking and sake.
The menu is a monthly course, and the specialty dish that always appears is straw-grilled Spanish mackerel. We will pursue the best production areas of the time from all over Japan such as Kyushu, Mie, Boshu, Sanriku, and provide the best-conditioned Spanish mackerel in a lively straw grill in front of you. Yassun, which is full of seasonal colors, is the most gorgeous in the course. To finish off, use rice cooked in a clay pot or white rice. An original made in collaboration with Shigaraki Kumoi Kama's clay pot writer, Ichibe Nakagawa. The deep shade of green and brown is a unique texture. You can take home the rice you couldn't eat as a souvenir.
